ITALIAN COMICS ACROSS GENERATIONS
A major thematic exhibition celebrates Italian comics as a cultural language capable of crossing generations, borders, and imaginaries. Fumetto Made in Italy – Generations, promoted by Lucca Crea, Fumo di China and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, with the support of the Embassy of Italy, invites the public to discover the richness of the Italian Ninth Art through a layered journey that explores its origins, evolution, and influence up to the present day. Particularly beloved in the Balkans, Italian comic production is here highlighted through the voices of its protagonists, from great masters to new generations.
A JOURNEY INTO ITALIAN NINTH ART
The visitor is guided on a journey through authors, works, and magazines that have shaped the history of Italian comics, leading up to the present, where publishers and contemporary organizations promote their international circulation. Through thematic sections, large exhibition panels, and interactive content, the exhibition creates a dialogue between past and present, offering a dynamic perspective on iconic characters and new interpretations. Meetings, in-depth insights, and side activities enrich the experience, transforming the exhibition into a point of connection between cultures and into a broader project dedicated to enhancing comics as a universal language.
